Severe storm hits Hamnvik, boats capsize, and ferry lines canceled

On September 19, 2023, a powerful storm struck the coastal town of Hamnvik with wind speeds reaching up to 11(19) meters per second. The gusty winds had severe consequences for boat owners in the marina, where at least two boats were reported to have torn away from the quay and capsized during the storm.
